Ah my beloved homeland!

I may be a little biased, but honestly, when the sun shines, the UK is as stunning as anywhere in the world in my opinion.

From cultural giants like London – where you could easily spend a week or 2 alone soaking up the museums, galleries, theatre, restaurants and iconic architecture – to other great cities such as Liverpool, Oxford, Manchester, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Bath, Glasgow and Belfast, there’s more history here than you can shake a stick at.

When it comes to countryside however the UK also delivers and from the epic majesty of Wales; Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons to Scotland’s Highlands, the Lake District, the Peak District and the Northumberland National Park – it’s easy to strap on your hiking boots and get away from it all.

If you’re looking for something easier, then day trips in the south of the UK to the Cotswolds, the South Downs, Stonehenge, Kent and the New Forest National Park, while those looking for coastal capers should head to Cornwall, Devon or my personal favourite, the Channel Islands!

Whatever you’re looking for, the UK delivers, don’t discount it!
